“We are very proud to repeat this accomplishment,” said Danielle Bumarch, JD, RN, President & CEO, HonorBridge. “This is the second consecutive year, that we received this honor. Our organization has experienced rapid growth the past few years, and we have focused on our passionate and hard-working staff, and it is paying off. We believe in a diverse, equitable, and inclusive culture that is respectful and committed to making the act of organ and tissue donation a meaningful one.”
HonorBridge is North Carolina’s largest organ donation and tissue recovery organization with offices in Durham, Greenville, and Winston-Salem. It is the bridge between the people who need transplants and the donors who make those transplants possible.
This survey and awards program was designed by Business North Carolina to identify, recognize, and honor the best employers in North Carolina, benefiting the economy, workforce, and businesses in the state of North Carolina.
Companies from North Carolina entered the process to determine the 2022 Best Employers in North Carolina. Employees and their employers were polled on a variety of essential workplace topics, including organizational health, engagement, leadership, work-life balance, training, pay, benefits, and corporate social responsibility. The scores determined the top companies and the final rankings. This is the 9th year for Best Employers, and those companies selected are featured in the August 2022 Business North Carolina magazine found here.
