Kirk Mizelle

CFO

Kirk Mizelle has worked in health care finance for more than 26 years. For the past 22 years, Kirk has served as the Chief Financial Officer for HonorBridge, leading the organization’s Finance and Human Resources departments. Kirk is actively engaged in all functions of an OPO as a member of the Executive Team and through extensive involvement with the Board of Directors. Since joining the OPO community, Kirk has been an active member of AOPO.  He has served as Secretary-Treasurer of AOPO Executive Committee, Chair of Financial Council, member of AOPO Finance and Budget Committee, in addition to participating on the Human Resources Council.

Kirk is a native of Eastern North Carolina, having served in various roles in civic and faith organizations such as United Way and as the elected Register of Deeds of Beaufort County. He holds a Master of Business Administration and Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from East Carolina University.

Kirk is a loyal Pirate through his support of East Carolina University athletics. He and his wife, Debra, can be found tailgating during the fall at home football games.
