My square is made in honor of my husband, Darren Yeats. I made a cardinal block with words for the feathers. They are words that I want to send to him, along with things that he loved. They say that when “Cardinal appear, a loved one is near.” Since his passing, they come often. Darren loved to help people, so it is so fitting that three of his organs saved three lives.
