Quilt Square

Created in honor of Matthew Byrd

Matthew really enjoyed skateboarding.  He’d already chosen and gotten his first tattoo based on a sculpture in a city park in Pennsylvania renowned for it’s great skating surfaces. The “Love” on the square is what his tattoo would’ve looked like if he’d gotten to finish it.  His Grammy, his whole life, always finished every correspondence with hugs and kisses in the form of “XOXOXO”.  We all miss him terribly.
