This quilt square contains a picture of my mother. She was a devoted wife, mother, sister, granny, and friend. She entered the public school of Robeson County in 1994, working in the cafeteria and as a school bus driver. For 29 years, she enjoyed and put pride in driving for the children and their safety was of the utmost importance to her. Her love for the Carolina Tarheels and sunflowers was undeniable.
