Carroll was a loving father, papa, husband, brother, uncle, and cousin! He served his country in the USA Marine Corp and became a 100% disabled veteran. He spent two tours in Vietnam and later became a policeman. Carroll also worked in the industrial construction field. He loved NASCAR and remodeled a 1966 Mustang. He was an avid bass fisherman. Carroll enjoyed sports, especially his Tennessee teams.
