Quilt Square

Created in honor of Douglas Holton

This quilt square that I made to honor my husband Doug’s memory represents several things.  The cross honors his belief and commitment to Jesus Christ.  He was in the Army, thus the US flag.  The later years, he became known as the “birdhouse man” making and selling hundreds of birdhouses. The bluebird represents hope for the future because spring is always coming.
