Donor Family Services
The first lifeline came in the form of a phone call the day I lost my son. I was devastated. A friendly voice told me about HonorBridge and what it does. That glimmer of hope was what I needed to get a little triumph from this tragedy.

Family Services
Our Family Services team is here to meet the unique needs of donor families in the hospital and after the death of their loved one. We answer questions and walk families through the donation process. We share information about the impact of your loved one’s decision to give the gifts of life.
For families who would like to continue to hear from us, we’ll send grief resources and other information in the year following the loss of a loved one. We can help donor families who wish to communicate with the recipients of their loved ones gifts and offer unique ways to remember and honor their heroes.
Honoring Our Heroes
Annual Donor Family Tribute
Each year, HonorBridge hosts an online gathering to celebrate the life and gifts of our donor heroes. The program features photos of your loved ones and our very special donor quilts.
Resources
Grieving and loss can be overwhelming; we’re here to help however we can
You are not alone. Grief is a very personal, and sometimes lonely, experience. We’ve collected some of our favorite resources about grief. Whether you like to read on your own or meet up with others for in-person support, you’ll find some suggestions on our Resources page.
Tribute Gifts
Make a financial gift in memory of a donor
We’re always so touched when we receive a financial gift in memory of a donor. We use these generous contributions to support our mission to heal and save lives through organ and tissue donation. When you make a memorial gift, we’ll send a handwritten note to notify the family of your generous tribute gift. You can also organize an in-person or online fundraiser in memory of your loved one.
Support
