Windows into a Life

In memory of my “little” brother

As a young child he developed a love of panda bears which stayed with him throughout his life. He loved baseball! As soon as he was old enough, he played in Little League, Babe Ruth, and on his high school team usually as a first baseman. He played in church leagues as an adult. He was an Eagle Scout. He loved to watch TV especially sports programming although I think he would watch almost anything. His TV was always on. He love to hunt. He loved red roses. By trade he was a carpenter, building forms for concrete and then supervising the pouring of the concrete on big projects like schools and parking decks. He loved his family, especially his daughters- Sandi and Angel! This is a glimpse into the life of my “little” brother, Joel Watson Whitley. February 4, 1961-November 2, 2014.
