Quilt Square

Created in honor of Landon Wallace

Suddenly and unexpectedly, our sweet Landon went to be with Jesus in heaven on October 29, 2010 after an aneurism in his brain ruptured.  He was 4 years 7 months and 8 days old when he was pronounced brain dead.  During this difficult time we try to focus on who Landon was…is and will be.

Landon was: a loving son, a kind and caring brother to Noah, a sweet darling grandson, a dear friend, a baseball player, a superhero; his favorites are Iron Man, Spiderman, and Superman. Funny, very funny- his smiles and laughs were extremely contagious.

Landon was loved every day of his life. Landon loved to fish, ride the tractor and the bulldozer with his daddy, grandpas, and grandmas. He loved the beach, dinosaurs, movies, and candy (his favorites were star burst, gummies, twizzlers and his all time favorite gum!) He loved to run…all the time.  But mostly Landon was caring, thoughtful and sweet boy, which is the reason we decided to donate his organs.  He would have wanted to help someone if he could.

Landon is in heaven with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.  He is having the time of his life right now.  We can see him now riding a dinosaur or lion. He is a donor, still living in the bodies of those who were blessed with his organs. Landon will be missed greatly, mourned and grieved over for the rest of our lives.  He will be remembered by all those whose lives have been and will be touched by him.  Landon will always be in our hearts forever. Landon will never be burdened, never suffer, and will never grieve. Landon will be in our arms again when we see him in heaven.
