Quilt Square

Created in honor of Danna Livingston

Butterflies hover and feathers appear, whenever lost loved ones or Angels are near.

My sister, Danna, loved butterflies because she believed that those who have already passed, like our Momma, were close whenever she saw a beautiful butterfly. Danna was an avid knitter and kept her family and friends warm with her handmade hats and scarves. She passed her love of crafts on to her niece, who did the cross-stitch of Danna’s name and dates on the quilt square. Danna’s biggest joy in life was being mom to her twin sons. She always said there was no one she would rather spend time with than her boys. She was affectionately known as “Mama Waffles” to their friends.

Being an organ donor was Danna’s choice and it was a huge comfort to her family, especially to her husband of over 25 years. Our family will always be grateful to HonorBridge.
