Honoring Our Heroes
Fulfilling Lindsay's dream to save lives through organ donation is one way we try to keep her memory and legacy alive.

Honoring Our Heroes
Annual Donor Family Tribute
Each year, HonorBridge hosts in-person and virtual programs to celebrate and honor the life and gifts of our donor heroes. The Donor Family Tribute program features photos of your loved ones and our very special donor quilts.
Honor Garden
Chapel Hill is home to HonorBridge’s Donor Care Center. This facility offers a comforting space for families in the midst of the donation process. Just outside the donor family area is our Honor Garden, where we will remember and honor all of our donor heroes in a peaceful and quiet place. The garden features a one-of-a-kind art installation, where we will plan special opportunities to gather and honor the selfless gifts of our donor heroes. Please reach out to a Family Resource Specialist if you would like to plan a visit.
Donor Quilts
Strength, Bravery, and Honor
Across the country, creating a unique quilt square is a tradition that honors the selflessness and generosity of our donor heroes. Each personalized square tells the story of a donor’s gift and their family. HonorBridge’s Donor Quilts tell the story of our heroes at events throughout the year, including the annual Donor Family Tribute. You are always welcome to view quilts below in our Donor Quilt Gallery, or contact a Family Resource Specialist to make arrangements to view quilts in an HonorBridge office location.
